Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities The Mission Services Integrator (MSI) delivers full lifecycle systems integration and engineering services to the missions of customers. MSI is chartered to provide technical leadership for many high-priority activities, including the integration of a new Motion Imagery resource into the NSG, leveraging Mission Partner, NGA systems, and GEOINT source data, to drive mission tradecraft transformation. MSI ensures understanding of customer & product requirements, & decomposes needs into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The NTM-L Systems Engineer and Integrator provides the engineering and project management required to successfully integrate a new Motion Imagery resource and GEOINT data, with focus on preparing the NSG ground segments and interfaces tasking. Reporting to the NTM-L Project Lead, the Systems Engineer is accountable for systems engineering, technical integration, and baseline management for this critical initiative. Responsibilities: Translate customer needs into system requirements Develop key project products (eg, CONOP, requirements documents, test and transition plans, integrated segment schedules, and milestone readiness event assessments) Develop Requests for Change and lead configuration control board process coordination Lead or participate in Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and technical exchange meetings serving as focal point for managing project execution and resolving enterprise issues Generate enterprise test plans, and lead test readiness and execution activities Coordinate and track segment Government Request for Information/Equipment requests Participate in the project risk management lifecycle, developing and coordinating risk mitigation plans and tracking risk burndown Provide Systems Engineering & Integration SME support to segment development contractor agile milestone events (eg, Program Increment (PI)) Lead the identification, tracking, mitigation, and resolution of technical issues Qualifications Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI Clearance (with current SSBI favorably adjudicated within the last 5 years) Bachelor's degree in CS / Math / Science / Engineering or related technical experience Minimum of 3 full years of experience in GEOINT, imagery or directly related field Demonstrated ability to identify technology gaps in capabilities and processes Demonstrated ability to explain technical issues clearly/accurately to technical/non-technical audiences Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team and effectively collaborate with teammates Desired Qualifications: Advanced degree in a technical field 5 years systems engineering, integration or development or directly related experience Exposure to national, tactical, and commercial data collectors and associated collection tasking and feasibility processes Demonstrated mission knowledge of aspects of the TCPED cycle Demonstrated knowledge of NGA systems/segments/services/projects Agile engineering and development methods (user story generation, sprint/scrum development, backlog management, test-driven development) Familiarity with cloud computing platforms Options
