Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities The NOAA Systems Engineering and Technical Services (SETS) program provides enterprise systems engineering support to the NOAA satellite ground systems and collected data. NOAA operates geostationary satellites, low elliptical and high elliptical satellites. NOAA shares data with many countries. We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the GOES-IO Task-2 (Process Management) Readiness Team which is supporting the establishment of a geostationary satellite over the Indian Ocean. This position is to support the government customer in developing and executing test, evaluation, and independent verification and validation (IV&V) programs in accordance with NOAA corporate Lifecycle Readiness process and the NOAA SETS Program Plan. Our Systems Engineer will support system readiness activities to include: Maintaining the GOES IO Test and Evaluation Plan which identifies and defines top level planning and requirements for inter-segment engineering tests. Supporting the execution of engineering tests. Interpreting and incorporating test results to support system and segment requirement verification. Qualifications Requires: 4 year Technical Degree & 8+ years of related systems engineering experience or Technical Masters degree and 6+ years related experience US Citizenship and eligibility to obtain Public Trust Clearance Options
