This role is in support of the Marine Corps in the execution of current Computer Network Defense (CND) . The candidate will ensure life-cycle audit readiness, inspection preparation, and develop non-compliance mitigation strategies in order to enable network superiority to the warfighter. The applicant will contribute to a wide range of CND activities related to the secure operation of the DoD Network. Your future duties and responsibilities: Develop and present Incident Reporting to Government Leadership; Lead multiple team members performing a variety of functions in the remediation of identified system intrusions; Recommend security measures to implement in response to identified or potential security threats to the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN); Determine enterprise information assurance and security standards; Develop and implement information assurance/security standards and procedures; Coordinate, develop, and evaluate security programs for an organization; Required qualifications to be successful in this role: It is required that the Security Information and Event Manager Subject Matter Expert has the following qualifications: a. Experience managing an enterprise-grade Security Information and Event Management toolset, including maintenance, cyber analytics and correlation use cases. b. At least five years overall experience with CND and cyber security tools c. Top Secret / Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) d. Experience leveraging network and host based sensors and other cyber security tools to enhance the detection of adversary activity. e.
