Job Description The Regional Financial Services Leader (RFSL) is responsible for the development & implementation of regional & territorial business strategies (ie production plan, agent/specialist development, specialist deployment, & retention) to increase market share in Allstate Life & Retirement (ALR) products. You share direct responsibility with senior sales leadership in the regions achievement of its annual production & staffing plans. The RFSL also manages & leads the Financial Sales Consultants (FSCs). The RFSL is responsible for ongoing securities supervision/education of all registered representatives (financial specialists, agents, sales producers, sales leaders) of Allstate Financial Services (FS) within a region to ensure adherence to broker/dealer policies & procedures, NASD (National Association of Securities Dealers), SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission), state securities laws & regulations. Key Responsibilities Develop a territorial ALR strategic business plan that supports the achievement of the regions goals Work with senior sales leaders to translate territorial business strategies into clear objectives & tactics Engage in recruiting activities designed to attract high potential sales recruits for the region & provide recruiting support for sales leaders Coordinate regional deployment of ALR products/programs Establish a strategy for developing new & existing agent/financial specialist partnerships Supervise all securities transactions, stock & bond trades made by any registered representatives working with the Broker/Dealer Develop & educate FSC(s) by accurately appraising strengths & weaknesses Develop & implement strategies for FSC(s) to achieve sales & business objectives. Develop regional FS education strategy for registered representatives on product knowledge & compliance education Lead initiatives for regional & territorial sales strategies On Regional Senior Leadership Team Job Qualifications 10+ years Financial Services experience preferred Strong leadership experience preferred 4 year college degree preferred Financial Service product knowledge required NASD, SEC, Broker/Dealer compliance experience preferred Strong FS industry experience including competitors & trends required Proven success in obtaining business results through the development of effective internal relationships preferred Superior interpersonal skills preferred Strong communication skills required Strong business knowledge preferred Overnight travel required Ability to attain (required): Series 7, 24, 51/53, 63 or equivalent Life License Industry certifications preferred The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
