Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities Perspecta is searching for a Vice President of Defense Agencies to direct and drive business results for programs supporting Department of Defense Shared Services (Ie DMDC, DLA, etc.). This includes developing, reviewing, updating, and implementing strategic business plans; understanding the business concerns and issues faced by DoD; and building and delivering business solutions that delight the customer. The Vice President will oversee a management team tasked with delivering those solutions on time and within budget while working to find areas of growth and new business. The Vice President will be expected to have frequent interaction with the customer as well as delivering progress and financial reports to the senior leadership of Perspecta. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must have 15+ years of experience in federal government contracting environments with at least 10 of those years in roles of increasing managerial responsibility. A strong business acumen with profit and loss responsibility is essential, as is demonstrated strategic thinking that moves an organization forward in terms of financial growth and customer reach. Candidates must demonstrate their ability to analyze and solve complex business issues and must have experience in budgetary planning and implementation including financial reporting oversight. Candidates must also have demonstrated success in holding their teams accountable for outstanding performance as well as in recruiting and retaining top talent. All candidates will have strong communication skills and executive presence. The position focuses on DoD organizations that support all of the services with the exception of DISA. Leading this broad set of agencies will require the ability to build new relationships, but previous experience and relationships with Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) is preferred. All candidates must have a bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical subject or equivalent work experience. The best candidates will have their MBA. **A TS/SCI security clearance is highly desired. Options
