Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities Using a holistic approach, designs, develops, evaluates and modifies end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle. Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics. Ensures requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods. Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower level detailed implementation requirements. Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development. Designs interfaces and brings system elements together so they work as a whole. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements. Participates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts. Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower level detailed requirements. Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation. Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements. The individual selected for this position will support the Sponsor's organization responsible for establishing a new office to host an Internet deconfliction role. This includes providing gap identification on internet technologies, future capabilities identification, and possible prototype establishment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Supporting the Sponsor in defining internet system architectures, developing roadmaps, and identifying planned developments in information technology areas. Look at gaps across organizations and systems - find efficiencies, create more robust systems Developing future technology roadmaps that describe the plans to move from "as-is' to the "to be". Identify way forward; the future of persona management Find and build next generation prototype (possibilities) Providing personal management and internet technology expertise to Sponsor components, and assist in technical reviews and designs, assessment of technical solutions to business needs, and development of technical concepts of system operations for Sponsor components' requirements, system designs, and system architectures. Qualifications Required: Must be knowledgeable in personal management and internet technology, identifying and gathering requirements, and supporting prototyping. Demonstrated experience gathering, compiling, evaluating, and interpreting complex information, as well as clearly presenting this information to stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to build networks and communicate effectively across organizational boundaries. Knowledge and working experience with program planning and execution processes. Working knowledge of digital and cyber identity environments. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience (3 years for BA/BS)) in engineering, IT, or computer science with a minimum of 16 years' experience Desired: Analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for various projects Experience working within a matrixed organization and the ability to find common ground to enable successful outcomes for multi-organization projects.
