Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities The Senior Software Systems Engineer is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining the customers Systems Engineering process tools to include configuration management, risk, issue and opportunity management, schedule management, architecture managements, and requirements management. Additionally, the Digital Engineering Team is responsible for implementing the Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) set of tools to meet the needs of stakeholders in a dynamic environment. The Sr Software System Engineer will work with stakeholders to create custom solutions to manage their software development life cycle with Rational CLM; identify and raising product related defects and coordinating with IBM and cloud vendors to get resolution; and participating in any integration activities involving Rational CLM. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, IT Service Management, and excellent communication skills with the ability to influence change. The primary objective of this Intelligence Community contract is to provide integration and closure; foundational system engineering processes; mission assurance; service management; Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE); & Verification, Validation and Transition (VV&T) systems engineering and technical support services to an Intelligence Community customer that will enable it to execute its responsibilities efficiently and effectively while ensuring mission success. As a member of the Digital Engineering Team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, transition and integration efforts supporting the contractors' and customers' needs using the CLM/CE applications and the Project Server environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Assess user requirements; design and configure user interfaces; perform integration testing, designs, develops, evaluates and modifies applications. Experience in extending the IBM CLM/CE platform to meet client requirements and/or provide integrations to 3rd Party tools. Supports project sites with custom web parts built on C# for SharePoint 2010 and 2013. Implements, configures and deploys custom solution packages/settings. Administers and maintains the structure, content, sites, and subsites and coordinates the resolution of product/service issues, upgrades, and problems. Designs and develops RESTful services to support integrations with other COTS products. Qualifications Required Skills: Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD. BS Degree in Computer Science or a related field (IT/Engineering/etc.) Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Poly Security + Certification Must have intermediary to advanced experience in CLM while demonstrating the following: 1) Implementing, modifying, and customizing Rational Collaborative Life-cycle Management 2) Strategic Planning and architecting solutions for leveraging new Rational CLM capabilities 3) Training and supporting the users on Rational CLM tools 4) Performing tool maintenance. Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, detail oriented, strong organization and time management skills Familiar with server side and client side programming languages (Java, JavaScript, SQL, HTML) Familiar with Windows scripting and programming languages (PowerShell, C#, VBA, .NET) Understanding RESTful APIs and RESTful implementation techniques PKI integration and implementation experience Desired Skills: Windows Administration Experience developing and troubleshooting workflows Knowledge of Agile Terminology, theories, and best practices Experience identifying, researching, and testing alternative solutions Familiarity with DoD and Intelligence Community regulations, directives, and policies Required Technical/Functional Skills: IBM CLM/CE Microsoft Eclipse Client Visual Studio SharePoint 2010 and 2013 Project Server 2010+ Windows Server Options
