    Applicants must have 1 year of specialized
    experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the
    Federal service which provided the applicant
    with the particular knowledge, skills and
    abilities to perform the duties of the position.
    Qualifying specialized experience must
    demonstrate the following:

    -Experience with security laws, regulations, and guidelines related to security protection programs, including local guard and surveillance detection programs worldwide. 

    -Experience researching and identifying state-of-the-art security technology, systems, devices and measures in the fields of facility, surveillance detection to test and introduce new security technologies.

    -Experience analyzing and evaluating security operations to establish policies, procedures and periodically conducting program assessments and reviews.  

    -Experience with contracting and financial management rules, regulations and processes, to provide assistance and advice pertaining to contract administration, modifications, performance and financial matters. 

    There is no substitute of education for
    specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
