    You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.


    You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as the following:

    -Experience in corporate finance, portfolio management, loan monitoring, or any specialized fields of finance AND
    -Experience with the financial and management structure, operations, and practices of Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) funds and Community Development Entities (CDE) .

    Examples of specialized experience may include experience with : operations of CDFIs or CDEs; lending and investing; portfolio management, loan monitoring, real estate development; provision of capital/credit or development services that promote economic development, community development and alleviating poverty; evaluation of financial soundness and capability of organizations; enforcement of laws, terms and conditions associated with the financial aspects of contracts and awards; federal grants management policies, directives, and regulations; and CDFI Fund mission, policies, procedures, and guidelines.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
    - A one year probationary period may be required.
    - Must successfully complete a background investigation.
    - Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
    - If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
    - Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
    - Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.  Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
    - Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel.
    - File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on.
    - Undergo an income tax verification, if required.
