Candidates must meet the individual occupational requirement for Outdoor Recreation Planner; additionally, candidates must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 level or have completed requirements for a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. Specialized Experience is defined as: Experience in addressing moderately complex recreation and land use issues.
