Qualified candidates will possess:
-MSN preferred, Masters in healthcare/clinical studies required.
-Minimum 5+ years RN experience in a behavioral health environment

Job Description
1. Schedules the unit's nursing staff
2. Attends treatment planning rounds to provide nursing support to formulation of
treatment plan; attends daily meetings to communicate and monitor appropriate care
and discharge planning within the parameters of the patient's insurance benefits or other
financial resources
3. Participates in the hospital performance improvement activities
4. Carries out the personnel management activities associated with direct staff
supervision, including screening and selection, orientation training and development,
performance managements, and employee relations functions
5. Maintains effective communication with all units and departments.
6. Maintains designated lines of authority
7. Functions within the policies and philosophies of the organization
8. Performs and supervises direct patient care as required
9. Works within budgetary constraints to include staffing, use of overtime, and use of
supplies and equipment.
10. Participates in activities that enhance professional goals and development
Work Schedule:


M-F 40 hours, salaried position. Day Shift.
