Transportation Cybersecurity Engineer, Senior

Key Role:
Serve as a part of an integrated team of engineers and Cybersecurity experts helping to expand the Cybersecurity practice of the firm's transportation sector. Consult with clients in the secure design of transportation technologies and systems, conduct Cybersecurity risk assessments, analyze security documentation, and implement Cybersecurity monitoring solutions within transportation sector environments. Analyze system concepts and apply the systems engineering life cycle to translating strategic Cyber objectives and technology and environmental conditions into engineering outcomes and solutions. Apply knowledge of monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to Cyber events and incidents within information systems, networks, and Cyber-physical environments. Advise on integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to deliver Cybersecurity operational services, including intrusion detection and prevention, situational awareness of network intrusions, security events and data spillage, and incident response actions. Lead tasks within projects and provide work leadership to junior employees.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity, including risk management, vulnerability assessments, security assessments, strategy and program development, network architecture designs, and solution monitoring

-Experience with Cyber-physical systems and embedded systems' Cybersecurity
-Experience with evaluating security vulnerabilities, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing remediation
-Experience with the risk management framework (RMF)

-Knowledge of penetration testing and reverse engineering
-Ability to analyze the creation of Cybersecurity documentation, including security policies, plans, and procedures
-Ability to analyze and suggest recommended improvements to technologies and systems to meet industry Cyber standards and best practices
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in the transportation sector
-Possession of excellent research and analytical skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
