    The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) necessary for this position are as follows:

    1. Applicant must have at least five years of successful human resources management experience in a DoD organization that is comprised of more than 150 employees.  

    2. Applicant must have at least three years knowledge/understanding of Non Appropriated Funded (NAF) Human Resources regulations.

    3. Applicant must have three years of positive customer facing experience. 

    4. Applicant must have at least three years of experience supervising/guiding employees in human resources related work.

    5. Applicant must address the following:

      a. Describe management style and communication skills (Note: Applicant will be required to meet with and brief senior government officials)

      b. Describe financial aptitude and experience in developing and executing a budget 

      c. Describe analytical abilities and capability to solve complex problems

      d. Describe aptitude and experience in team building, dispute resolution, and working with union representatives

      e. Describe a project/initiative you have led (or taken a significant role in) to implement process improvement to strengthen organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and/or readiness.    

      f. Describe experience in identifying and adapting quickly to changing requirements in a fast paced environment.  

    Preferred Qualifications:

    A Bachelor’s Degree in addition to three years of successful work experience in a DoD organization that is comprised of more than 150 employees.

    Meticulous attention to detail and follow-up/through capabilities.
