In addition to the education requirement, you must also have the following in order to qualify for the position:
One year of experience at the GS-15 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-15 in the private sector interpreting administrative law and laws related to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended; and experience leading attorneys and staff to include administering performance of more junior staff.
This position requires a writing sample: Each applicant must submit an original sample of their unedited written work that does not exceed ten pages in length (double or single spaced). The writing sample should demonstrate legal analysis. Failure to provide a writing sample will disqualify you from further consideration.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are currently serving or have previously served in the series in the Federal government for which this position is being advertised, you do not need to submit a transcript(s) if you submit an SF-50 that provides proof of you having been in the series.
In order to qualify for this position, you must possess a J.D. degree from a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).
In addition to the education requirement, you must currently be a member in good standing of the bar of a State, a Territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
