    Candidates must have at least three years of experience in data visualization and graphic design, as well as a bachelors or advanced degree. Experience with producing high-quality data visualizations for print or online publication is required.
    Experience with the production of print publications is highly desirable, as is experience with online publishing. Other desirable skills include proficiency with Microsoft products, especially Word and Excel; with Adobe products, especially InDesign and Illustrator; and with programming languages that can be used for making static and interactive graphics, such as R (ggplot2), Python (Matplotlib, Seaborn), and JavaScript (D3, Highcharts).
    Success in the position will require possessing superior attention to detail; producing highly accurate work even when juggling several priorities; and collaborating well in a process for composition, review, and production that typically involves many people. Occasional evening and weekend work, usually with some notice, is necessary.
