For CP-07/GS-09: Applicants qualifying for the CP-07/GS-09 level includes one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least CP-06/GS-08 level. Specialized experience consists of: 1) Analyzing and evaluating conditions related to various crime scenes; 2) Applying appropriate collection methods and a variety of standard techniques/procedures; 3) Exercising judgment and understanding on how to collect and package various types of evidence; and 4) Presenting written and verbal reports on evidence issues.
Evidence of specialized experience must be supported by detailed documentation of duties performed in positions held. Please provide such documentation on resume and narrative responses to the assessment questionnaire.

Substitution of Education for Experience: To qualify at the CP-7/GS-9 level, master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related
Combination of Education and Experience: To qualify at the CP-7/GS-9 level, equivalent combinations of specialized experience and graduate level education may be used.
