Make a difference for Adventist HealthCare as a Nurse Recruiter, hiring nurses and other support staff to carry out our Mission of extending care through the ministry of spiritual, mental, and physical healing.
Provides inclusive outreach that includes comprehensive recruitment and screening activities that meet the diversity needs of our region
Build and manage strong working relationships with hiring managers to identify the best candidates.
Develop meaningful and helpful relationships with candidates to support their recruitment and onboarding experience.
Reviews resumes, phone screen using behavioral interview techniques, evaluate candidates for consideration and hire.
Manage and direct the interview, selection, offer negotiations, hiring process and on-boarding.
Keep abreast of market trends to educate and advise hiring managers on policies, benefits and salary equity, on-boarding & assimilation, work friendly programs and competitive best practices.
Prepare and complete new hire requirements including reference checks if applicable, background/sanction checks, scheduling of health assessment and initiates the on-boarding process.
Utilize technology to streamline processes, increase efficiency and track performance metrics.
Lead and organize recruiting special events, task forces or committees.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare or related field preferred
Professional certification preferred (i.e. CHCR, PHR)
At least 5 years of work experience that includes managing projects and/or recruiting, in an healthcare environment
