Senior Scrum Master

Serve as an IT project manager for the mobile engineering team and guide cross-functional teams in executing the principles of the Scrum framework for organizing and managing projects in software development. Facilitate planning, team learning in the form of reviews and retrospectives, and the adaptation of the Scrum process to ensure the quality of the team and its solutions. Increase team efficiency and partners with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure that the project is progressing smoothly and that every team member has the tools necessary to meet project deliverables in an efficient manner. Track and measure the work velocity of the mobile engineering team and lead and guide the team members to help improve their efficiency; manage the Scrum process with the coordination of the team in Agile methodology; and remove impediments that prevent the team from meeting project goals that it has negotiated for a given “sprint” or “iteration.” Arrange, facilitate, and schedule daily stand-up meetings and demo and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspections and the proper use of the adaptation process. Promote the methodology that supports the integration of changing customer inputs and business conditions into software development. Work with the mobile apps product owner to define and prioritize outcomes; guide the application of Agile frameworks to the software to increase effectiveness of the mobile engineering team; lead daily Scrum meetings and iteration reviews; and maintain the mobile apps project backlogs. Coordinate with the mobile apps product owner to manage and refine the project backlog to get it in good shape for project iterations; conduct retrospective meetings to track lessons learned; organize and facilitate the mobile app project iteration planning meetings; and lead the mobile apps engineering teams in the delivery of mobile app features using Scrum frameworks. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; 4 years of experience in IT project management; and 4 years of experience with Agile methodology and frameworks, approaches, and techniques including Scrum, Kanban, and User Stories. All experience may be earned concurrently.
