  • You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.

    At the GS-13 grade level, specialized experience is defined as experience in the following skill sets:

    Skill Set 1) Applying Federal Uniform Guidance via 2 CFR 200 (Code of Federal Regulations) in the application of Federal financial administrative requirements and audit requirements for federal awards; determining allowability and allocability of costs, participating in compliance reviews and evaluation of financial assistance award actions.

    Skill Set 2) Providing guidance and consultation on the interpretation and application of Federal financial assistance requirements; and

    Skill Set 3) Conducting policy research and developing recommendation to Congressional Inquiries, Freedom of Information request, Government Accountability inquiries, and Inspector General investigations related to Federal financial assistance awards.

    At the GS-14 grade level, specialized experience is defined as experience in the following skill sets:
