Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Receiving Assistant
Locally owned and operated flooring business is hiring for a professional, full time accounts payable, purchasing and receiving assistant.

As one of the region’s premiere floor covering wholesalers we provide high-quality hardwood flooring throughout MD, DC and VA. Basic data entry
Match A/P invoices and receiving paperwork to POs and process payments
Record customer payments
Send out customer statements and follow up on A/R
Prioritize multiple projects, with frequent interruptions
Electronic and hardcopy filing of documentation
Manage vendor records
JOB REQUIREMENTS TO INCLUDE:
Great verbal and written communication skills
Customer service skills with experience in a retail/customer service environment
Motivated self- starter who is eager to learn
Retail math expertise for ordering
Computer skills including experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Detail oriented - must be able to export and manage data accurately and efficiently
Adaptable to change
Floor covering knowledge a plus but not required
Salary commensurate with experience.
