ABOUT US:

Our 35-bed combined Emergency Department/Trauma Center treated approximately 50,000 patients in the past year, including close to 3800 trauma patients a year, making us the second busiest trauma facility in the state of Maryland with Shock Trauma being the only facility that exceeds us in volume.  We are also a designated Chest Pain and STEMI Center as well as a Primary Stroke Center dedicated to the treatment and recovery of stroke patients. Our nurses are prepared to take care of all types of patients from birth to 100+.

We collaborate both effectively and efficiently with all disciplines throughout the hospital with the common goal to provide an optimal patient experience.  As a teaching facility we are often working with several students from paramedics, medical, nursing and PAs as well as other ancillary departments to make sure that our nurses get the greatest experience in one of the most active, engaging clinical settings.  We pride ourselves on teamwork, critical thinking and a patient first approach to patient care.  Come join our team and be a part of something greater!
