Pricing Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Act as a lead for providing pricing strategy and business guidance for pricing and estimating a wide range of proposals across a large portfolio of business, working closely with account leaders, pricing staff, and proposal teams as they develop and manage proposal submission efforts and associated strategies. Drive collaboration in developing and assessing pricing targets, estimating, risk mitigation, and business strategies, review and analyze key opportunities, and assess and suggest proposal strategies to achieve pricing and business objectives, compliance with requirements, and preferred and refined bid strategy. Provide subject matter expertise and develop and maintain relationships with key internal client and colleagues. Drive the development of leading-edge government or commercial type proposal practices and tools within the pricing team and assist with developing best practices for teamwide policies and processes, including analyses for cost estimating, price points, competitiveness, solicitations, risk, tradeoffs, and optimization. Assess and recommend strategies in the context of reseller agreements, contract vehicles, teaming and subcontract agreements, and proposals to government and commercial clients, monitor pricing performance for competitiveness and business performance, and resolve or escalate problems that may impact competitiveness, performance, or execution.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with federal government accounting, finance, contracting, proposal development, project management, or compensation analysis, including pricing strategies, structures, tools, and communications

-4+ years of experience in a federal government services pricing environment

-Experience with contract vehicles, including GSA schedules and government-wide acquisition contracts

-Experience with identifying competitive price points

-Experience with the aspects of business metrics, negotiation, accounting practices, contracts administration, and project management

-Experience with managing or leading teams

-Knowledge of FAR, including FAR Parts 12 and 15 and agency supplements, estimating systems, and cost accounting standards

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree or 4 years of experience with pricing in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications
-Experience with commercial product sales or pricing and accounting methodologies regarding key terms, warranties, IP, and commercial pricing for a blend of commercial and government clients

-Experience with financial analyses, including value tradeoffs, cashflow, profitability, and warranty or risk assessments

-Experience with fixed-price systems delivery proposals or contracts, including proposals for the software development life cycle, systems delivery, and other IT services associated with customized software and COTS or GOTS solutions

-Knowledge of Tableau

-Knowledge of software pricing systems, including ProPricer, COBRA, MPM, or PPAS

-Ability to successfully support a fast-paced, high-volume, diverse and changing, and deadline driven workload
