Beginning/Ending Dates: Immediate start until July 29, 2018

Assists in all research and evaluation activities within the purview of the Education Division including literature reviews, instrument development, data collection (i.e., instruments, surveys, interviews, focus groups), data entry, data management (cleaning and coding), and providing written summaries and reports of work.

Duties and Responsibilities

30% Data collection and data entry
50% Data management, including quality control and coding
10% Literature reviews
10% Reports


  • Bachelor's degree required with at least 3 years of experience in the field of research and/or evaluation preferred.
  • Experience within the field of education or social sciences preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Art Industry and Education Standards preferred.
  • Skills in promoting process improvements preferred.

Minimum Skills and/or Knowledge Required

  • Proficiency in Excel.

  • Proficiency in the use of statistical analysis software such as, SPSS, R, or M-Plus.

  • Organized and detail-oriented.

  • Demonstrated flexibility and a problem-solving attitude

  • Capacity to work within a team environment

  • Ability to prioritize work load and deliver high quality work on time, including under short-term deadlines

  • Strong ability in communication (verbal and written). Fluency in English (written and oral)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability

  • Culturally sensitive and respectful

  • Ability to work in U.S. without requiring sponsorship
