Financial Intelligence Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide guidance to the client and team on financial systems, money laundering typologies, and threat actor financing methodologies and advise the client on strategic priorities and initiatives. Utilize data manipulation, analysis, and visualization software tools to rapidly prototype solutions addressing challenging client questions. Develop analytic solutions to highlight suspicious activity within structured and unstructured datasets often inclusive of "dirty" data points. Review the Bank Secrecy Act and other regulatory filings by financial institutions, including Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). Conduct regulatory, intelligence, and law enforcement research in support of possible civil enforcement actions. Gather supporting information from financial regulators, financial institutions, law enforcement, and other areas to evaluate and make determinations of enforcement actions and evaluate team products for consistency and quality. Leverage analytical and written expertise to draft and/or support the drafting of complex legal memoranda and other documents for review to support enforcement actions and administrative actions, including geographic targeting orders.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with analyzing people, activities, methods, or trends, including money laundering, financial crime, or other illicit activities

-Experience with SAS, Python, R, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and/or equivalent analytic and data manipulation tool

-Knowledge of intelligence and law enforcement databases

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and data

-Experience with forensic accounting

-Ability to construct and apply statistical models to structured datasets

-MA or MS degree preferred

-CAMS, CFE, or CFCS Certification

Clearance:
