AboutWeb is currently seeking a Security Analyst. This consulting role will have internal and client facing responsibilities that encompass security analyst, engineering, and operations skill sets however the primary focus will be on security analysis and related documentation. Responsibilities include securing our client's on-premise client project delivery and corporate infrastructure as well as ensuring the security of our client's client systems. The successful candidate will perform security analyst tasks such as risk assessment, development and maintenance of security program documentation, development of system security plans, privacy impact assessments, and other security artifacts as well as analysis and assisting technical teams with resolution of security control assessment findings.
Per a federal clearance requirement, US Citizenship is required.

Required Experience - 10+ years of experience with the following:
  • NIST SP800-37Rev.1 Risk Management Framework and related processes
  • All Federal Government information security processes and standards such as NIST Special Publications, FIPS, OMB Circular A-130 Appendix III, etc.
  • FISMA Compliance
  • Development and maintenance of security artifacts such as system security plans, privacy impact assessments, information security risk assessments, contingency plans, etc.
  • Development and maintenance of security program documentation (security policies, procedures, standards, etc.)
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing
  • Analysis of security assessment findings, control implementations, and resultant security documentation updates (Plan of Action and Milestones, Corrective Action Plans, etc.)
  • Excellent Technical Writing skills
  • Experience in a structured (but not constraining) environment
  • Experience working directly with clients
  • Ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver within deadlines
  • Experience with creating and maintaining detailed documentation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills

Preferred Experience :
  • Experience with Windows Server and .NET based solutions
  • Experience with Privacy Threshold Analysis
  • Experience with development of security awareness training programs
  • CISSP Certification
  • Security+ Certification
