Conference Logistics Associate

The Conference Logistics Associate is responsible for supporting the logistical and administrative needs of the Conference Services function. This position serves as the main customer service contact by answering incoming service requests from members, exhibitors and staff on conference related issues. This position creates logistical systems and tools for assigned conference related projects. The Associate is also responsible for writing communications, proofing and editing materials related to conferences. The position coordinates meetings and events for internal clients and smaller events as assigned.
Requires a High School diploma, business school and/or college desirable plus a minimum of 3 years' project management, administrative and customer service experience, preferably with associations in a conference related function; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires exceptional customer service skills with a high level of follow through. Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Requires excellent oral and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills plus great attention to detail and accuracy.
