Student Services and Admissions Assistant

The School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution is seeking to hire a Student Services and Admissions Assistant, responsible for supporting the Assistant Director for Graduate Admissions and the Graduate Academic Advisor and Student Services Coordinator. Responsibilities of the position will include the following:

  • Act as liaison with the Office of Graduate Admissions to facilitate processing of graduate admissions applications
  • Review applications and manage the online admissions process for S-CAR graduate students
  • Coordinate with graduate program and student services directors and faculty to review applications in a timely manner
  • Communicate with prospective and accepted students through the CRM systems
  • Attend as the S-CAR representative at Graduate Admissions meetings
  • Represent S-CAR at recruitment events
  • Conduct individual consultations with prospective students
  • Assist with graduate events and special projects including filing systems, reporting metrics, and database development.
  • Some evening hours may be required.

Required Qualifications: * B.A or equivalent combination of education and experience * Skilled in CRM systems (Banner, Salesforce, TargetX) * Microsoft systems and software * Good communication skills * Ability to communicate and work with diverse populations Preferred Qualifications: * Prior admissions experience * Familiarity with Conflict Resolution topics and themes desired * Experience in higher education administration
