We’re looking for an all-star recruiter to join Bloomberg BNA’s recruiting team! We’re looking for someone who will gain credibility and trust to advise business leaders and hiring managers on best recruiting practices and trends. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience identifying, sourcing, assessing and interviewing talent. This role will be responsible for supporting the continued growth and achievement of our business across our flagship products: Bloomberg Law®, Bloomberg Tax and Bloomberg Government®. What you’ll do:
Own and drive innovative recruitment strategy in partnership with hiring managers or executives. Source and identify candidates through online sources, external job postings, recruitment ads, educational institutions, professional and diversity associations and publications, job fairs, employment agencies, search firms, etc. Acts as recruiting consultant to hiring managers by guiding, advising, and assisting them throughout the recruiting process, and providing job specific market data. Represents Bloomberg BNA at job fairs, conferences, and related recruiting and networking events. Conducts new hire orientation as necessary. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:
Demonstrated knowledge of human resources principles, policies, practices, issues, laws and regulations, especially those pertaining to employment. Demonstrated knowledge of behavior based interviewing. Solid internet sourcing skills, including Boolean searches and the ability to recruit using both traditional and nontraditional methods. Ability to build and foster strong relationships with hiring managers and executives. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with people at all levels, both inside and outside Bloomberg BNA. Excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills. Excellent negotiation and closing skills; strong interpersonal skills and self-starter with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to multitask, use sound judgment and maintain confidentiality. Ability to maintain confidentiality of documents and information. Strong analytical skills. Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in full lifecycle corporate recruiting and/or employment agency recruiting required.
