Production Test Lead, Senior

Key Role:
Provide professional services in leading, designing, and supporting ship production test and trial development and planning to ensure effectiveness, operability, maintainability, and survivability in the planned operating environment. Perform ship production test and trials planning and analyze the development and implementation of all program office ship production test and trials verification processes and procedures. Analyze, evaluate, and recommend ship production testing approaches and tools. Support ship production cycles, including identification, analysis, execution, and documentation of all tests and trials. Analyze requirements to fully comprehend platform and system testing needs and the use of special test equipment. Monitor ship production trials and testing progress and create trial and test progress and status reports. Interface with government technical project managers to ensure the support provided meets or exceeds all work performance objectives and standards.

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with new ship construction production testing and evaluation, including the design and introduction for the service and operation of complex platforms
-Experience with shipyard test procedures and progress reports, tests and trails readiness processes, trial card processing and reports, production schedules, engineering machinery, including hull, mechanical, and electrical and combat systems “light-off” processes, including production issues resolution
-Experience with the design, construction, and fleet introduction of naval ships, including design changes, ship alterations, and identification of how these alterations affect production test plans and evaluations
-Experience with US Navy ships and shipboard systems for ship production testing and evaluation, configuration management, acquisition, operation, maintenance, and life cycle sustainment
-Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process, including its regulations, directives, and statutes and the Navy's application of the DoD acquisition process, including contracting and sea trials and key naval ship acquisition roles and organizations
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
