Develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament / ordnance, or related data processing systems for military aircraft weapon systems or associated support equipment or components.

Essential Job Functions:

Review, analyze, develop, prepare, update, maintain, or apply engineering, technical or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures.

Plan, perform and execute test & evaluation of aircraft and weapons components or armament systems in accordance with SOPs and approved test plans.

Compile, process, reduce, or analyze test data.

Organize, analyze, and prepare reports or presentations of technical data and information.

Coordinate, schedule and prepare test facilities, assets and equipment used for weapons testing.

Maintain armament area facilities, assets and equipment to include purchase of materials, maintenance of tool control inventories, and material shipping / receiving.

Prepare, check and operate test equipment used to generate test data.

Perform pre- and post-test checks of test assets and equipment.

Design, develop, modify, fabricate and test prototype test articles, equipment and aircraft armament release & control systems / store management systems.

Requirements Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years of experience is required or an Associates Degree plus 2 years of experience is required.

An active Secret security clearance required.

1 year of performing engineering/technical functions in Test Engineering.

Desired Skills:

Experience conducting weapon system release and control checks, fabricating / installing / integrating aircraft cables, and designing / building prototype electronic circuit.
