Food Service Worker
Position Description:Under the direction of the Kitchen Manager, the food service worker I performs a variety of semi-skilled kitchen/cafeteria related duties as assigned according to level of proficiency and departmental need and in compliance with the policies and procedures of the food and nutrition department.
Required Education an Experience:
EXPERIENCE: at least one year experience in a hospital foodservice environment.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILLS: Some skills in preparation of food following standard recipes. Some ability to prepare food in large quantities. Some ability to deal tactfully with patients, hospital staff and the public
