Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead

Key Role:

Lead all efforts to assist clients with identifying, containing, and remediating intrusions on their systems and networks. Coordinate the response team's efforts, manage communications with the client, maintain primary responsibility for the completion of each engagement, and deliver reports to clients and management. Perform forensics to reconstruct intrusions and make recommendations for improving client defenses. Identify, gather, and process threat intelligence. Partner with the product development team to improve product detection capabilities. Identify and lead the capture of Cybersecurity engagements across Booz Allen's commercial and government verticals and build and leverage relationships in each of those markets to advance the firm's business objectives. Play a lead role in attracting, developing, and retaining diverse Cybersecurity talent and mentor teammates in incident response principles and techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with Cybersecurity

-5+ years of experience with leading complex Cybersecurity incident response engagements for commercial and government clients, including the implementation of new people, processes, and technologies for threat prevention, detection, and response

-2+ years of experience in leading business development and solution delivery with commercial or government clients in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

-Experience with computer network defense (CND), including combating advanced persistent threat and organized crime adversaries

-Experience as a technology and data security consulting thought leader

-Ability to work collaboratively within the firm's Commercial, Cyber, and Strategic Innovation Group practices

-BA or BS degree or 8+ years of experience with Cybersecurity in lieu of a Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff on functional expertise

-Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment

-Possession of excellent client facilitation skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree
