Position Overview
Freddie Mac’s Single-Family Marketing and Communications department is looking for a Business Operations Professional to join our Marketing and Communications Operations team. This position is responsible for financial reporting, vendor management, program management, planning and analysis for our group. This role partners directly with our Freddie Mac Single-Family business areas for project management work in addition to the Procurement and Finance teams on planning and reporting. Work falls into four primary categories: Financial Management and Planning *Responsible for various aspects of budgeting for Single-Family Marketing and Communications including
maintaining contracts, invoices, reporting accruals and all related-documentation
*Prepare monthly reconciliations and forecasting annual budget

Vendor Management

*Work closely with procurement and contingent worker operations departments to ensure efficient onboarding of vendors, management of legal documents and submission of funding requests
*Manage vendor tracking documents and vendor reporting

Support Services *Maintain an effective communication process with key stakeholders and business partners to ensure that budgets and analyses are accurate and implement corporate inititiaves including changes in reporting requirements
*Assist with special projects, sometimes ad-hoc, that require program management including responsibility for all aspects of organizing and coordinating division programs and oversee the marketing and communications operational progress


*Administer timely billing processes, including fee reconciliation and vendor invoicing
*Distribute outstanding receivables report to management and work with staff to secure payment
*Ensure department compliance with company financial policies (e.g. revenue recognition, job requisitions, time entry, travel and expense, billing, accounts payable)
*Investigate unidentified variances on account reconciliations (e.g. accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, asset Management, billing, contracts)
*Identify and promote process improvements for reporting and analysis

Basic Requirements
*Typically 3-5 years of related experience
*Bachelor’s degree in management or a related discipline, and/or commensurate related work experience
*Experience working in Financial Planning and Analysis
*Management reporting experience
*Ability to derive analytical insights from multiple data sources; must understand context and relevant KPIs
*Strong analytical and communication skills
*Ability to work within strict deadlines in a group environment and takes initiative
*Comfortable interacting with all levels of senior management
*Knowledge of Microsoft packages and PeopleSoft Key to success in this role:

*Ability to handle competing priorities, multi task, and deliver high quality results
*Strong relationship management skills, be a team player and possess the ability to work across the organization with stakeholders at all levels
