Commercial Cybersecurity Engineer, Lead

Key Role:
Lead client work delivery and grow business across a range of commercial markets, including automotive, financial services, oil and gas, and healthcare. Work with clients across a broad range of commercial markets, including financial services, healthcare, energy, consumer products, high-tech, pharmaceuticals, and automotive to implement and achieve Cybersecurity objectives. Apply knowledge of monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to Cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks. Advise on an integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to deliver Cybersecurity operational services, including intrusion detection and prevention, situational awareness of network intrusions, security events and data spillage, and incident response actions. Test, implement, deploy, and operate the infrastructure hardware and software required to manage the organization's Cybersecurity operational services effectively. Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed, and represent the firm in a polished manner when engaging clients to build relationships and further enhance Booz Allen's brand in the commercial marketplace. Work as a Cybersecurity professional with experience in the commercial sector. This position requires extensive travel to client sites of up to 75%.

Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience with assessing, designing, or implementing security capabilities, including incident response, threat intelligence, security monitoring, and vulnerability management

-Experience as a Cybersecurity consultant working as part of commercial-focused project delivery teams within the private sector
-Experience with core enterprise infrastructure and security-supported technologies, including data protection elements, such as DLP, tokenization, or encryption, perimeter protection, such as firewalls or WAF, SIEMs, IPS/IDS, managed security services, and Cloud service security
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including developing high-end, polished PowerPoint presentations
-Ability to contribute to the identification and implementation of security solutions
-Ability to travel 50-90% of the time
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in working for consulting firms, including Deloitte, EY, PwC, or Accenture
-Experience with working through diverse technical Cybersecurity aspects 
-Experience with Information Security regulations or regulatory bodies, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, or GLBA
-Knowledge of information security program frameworks, including ISO 27001/2, COBIT, or NIST
-Ability to excel in face-to-face client interaction in project execution
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including providing substantive narrative input on client deliverables, reports, proposals, and marketing content
-BA or BS degree in MIS, CS, or related technical field preferred; MBA, MA, or MS degree a plus

-CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification
