Grade 07:
Qualifying experience for the GS-7 level includes one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience include: Maintaining an automated tracking system to support realty functions; Provide day-to-day lease administration functions related to the leasing process; Generated reports from automated databases to support leasing and/or reporting requirements.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: The experience requirements for the GS-7 level may be met by completion of one (1) year of graduate level education that is directly related to the work of the position, such as courses in real estate taxation, accounting, real estate feasibility analysis, leasing law, and property development.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements.
Grade 09:
Qualifying experience for the GS-9 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to GS-7 which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples are assists in planning and analyzing requirements for relocation's, including required space alterations, changes to office design and decor and occupation of vacated space. Coordinates space allocations and requests for relocation and validates justification. Assists in resolving inter-agency controversies regarding space assignment and utilization and advises on the priority of relocation's and space improvement requests.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: The experience requirement for the GS-9 level may be met by two (2) full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education or completion of all requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or completion of all requirements for an LL.B or J.D. degree.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements.
Grade 11:
Qualifying experience for the GS-11 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to GS-9 which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Example of such experience includes : Oversees the performance of repairs and alterations of space and ensures that requests for emergency services and projects are handled in an expeditious manner. Coordinates projects with the appropriate project leads to ensure timely and quality services are provided to the client agencies. Ensures that service requirements for client agencies are received for the operation and maintenance on building systems.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Experience requirements at the GS-11 level may be met by three (3) full academic years of graduate level education or the successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements.
**IF USING EDUCATION TO QUALIFY: You MUST provide transcripts to support your educational claims. Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

BASIS OF RATING: Your application will be rated under Category Rating Procedures and be placed in one of three categories: Highly Qualified (highly proficient with an overall comprehensive level of knowledge, skills, and abilities of the job based on a complete review of experience, education and training), Well Qualified (competent in the position with an overall accomplished level of knowledge, skills, and abilities of the job based on a complete review of experience, education and training), or Qualified (an overall basic level of knowledge, skills and abilities of the job based on a complete review of your experience, education and training). With the exception of positions which are professional and scientific at the GS-09 (or equivalent) and above, qualified preference eligibles with a compensable service-connected disability of 30-percent or more (CPS) and those with a compensable service-connected disability of at least 10-percent but less than 30-percent (CP) move from the category in which they would otherwise be placed to the top of the highest quality category.
