You may start at $114,590.00 if you possess the following by the closing date of the announcement.
Specialized Experience: Specialized Experience is defined as one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level (in the Federal service) or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level (in the private sector) applying IT systems security principles, concepts and methods.
Examples of specialized experience may include: applying information security policy, laws and regulations of information security programs; identifying, evaluating, mitigating and minimizing risks associated with IT systems vulnerabilities, and reviewing and evaluating the impact of new systems and network security standards and requirements.
You are required to submit a writing sample on the topic of Information Security Continuous Monitoring. If you do not submit the writing sample, your application will be considered as incomplete.
WRITING SAMPLE (MANDATORY): Each applicant must submit an original sample of their written work that is at least two pages in length and does not exceed ten pages in length (double or single spaced). The writing sample may be from work done in a prior job or educational institute. Redactions of client names, addresses, or account numbers are expected in such submissions. We will not use your writing sample to determine your qualifications; however, your writing sample will go to the Selecting Official, along with your resume, if you are referred.
All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
