Unique opportunity to join the Budget Division within the Department of Medical Assistance Services, to coordinate and support Budget Division work for a wide variety of new initiatives and special projects, including Medicaid Expansion. Incumbent provides research and policy assistance as management liaison and support to the Budget Director to develop solutions to complex financial issues regarding Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The successful applicant must have comprehensive knowledge of public sector financial management and budgeting. Requires considerable knowledge of principles and practices of public administration, as well as research methods. Requires strong quantitative analysis and problems solving skills. Must have comprehensive knowledge of financial and administrative processes, principles of management, legislative process and policy and regulatory development.
