Operates, maintains and provides key operator service on all automated mail/postage equipment;processes incoming and outgoing mail; and operates computer interface with FEDEX, UPS, USPS, and Pitney Bowes. Contributes to the Bishops' strategic plan for the Conference. Demonstrates willingness and ability to understand, respect and contribute to the USCCB mission and to fulfill job duties in accordance with its Catholic identity.

Educational Level: High School Diploma
Major Field/Specialty: Business or vocational

Other Specialized Training: (i.e. word processing, personal computer, knowledge of Catholic Church, etc.)

Basic knowledge of Catholic Church structures and hierarchy
Have a good knowledge of personal computers.
Have a working knowledge of automated mailing and postage machines, ink-jet addressing machines, copiers, inserter and collators.
Must possess a valid motor vehicle license.

Type and Nature of Professional Experience:

General mail room experience with knowledge of operating automated postage and mailing equipment.
Experience with inserter and collators.
Ability to follow established policies and procedures.
Ability to collaborate with peers, colleagues and others to achieve mission goals and objectives.

Number of Years Required: 6 months - 1 years or work related experience.
