The Barker Adoption Foundation, a non-profit adoption agency, is seeking a Crisis Pregnancy Outreach Specialist responsible for educating people in the community about Barker’s pregnancy counseling and adoption placement services, with emphasis on identifying pregnant women who can benefit from this resource.  Duties include planning and implementing an annual outreach calendar, preparing informational materials, building and maintaining connections in the community, and collaboration with Barker’s digital marketing manager.  The crisis pregnancy outreach specialist will also be responsible for working with the pregnancy counselor to provide on-call support on scheduled evenings and weekends.  Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a related field with a minimum of two years’ work experience in a professional setting post-graduation.  Must be proactive, flexible, able to multi-task, and enjoy working in a diverse, results-oriented workplace where a premium is placed on teamwork. Must have flexibility and reliable transportation to perform duties as needed after hours, or on weekends.
