Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator
The George Mason University Housing and Residential Life Department is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to serve as a part time Payroll and Human Resources Coordinator. - Assist with the processing of payroll for all student and non-student wage workers;
- Processing of all electronic personnel action forms (EPAF) for student and non-student wage workers;
- Ensuring newly hired student and non-student wage workers complete the Mason OnBoard process;
- Provide courteous & professional customer service to the George Mason University community; and
- Work collaboratively with central HR, as well as the larger university community.
Required Qualifications: * Effective interpersonal communication and customer service skills; * Ability to prioritize work, follow through, and willingness to be flexible; * Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism; * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; * Experience with collaboration and communication with diverse individuals with differing needs at all levels of the organization; * Demonstrated experience with data entry; and * Strong attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: * Demonstrated experience in payroll and human resources * Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) * Higher education or pubic workforce experience
