You may qualify at the GS-14 level if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of such experience are:
--Lead and directed cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget and resources;
--Developed procedures and systems for assessing the effectiveness of project management processes;
--Managed or coordinated all aspects of complex projects involving information and data management from initiation to completion;
--Proficient with various project management software applications;
--Provided oversight of projects to manage a complex data and decision support system;
--Promoted project management practices by creating and maintaining project standards and methods; and provided project management guidance and support.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
