Application Support Engineer

The application support engineer will work for 1 to 5 microservices that represent one Arc product. The ideal candidate is someone early in their career as an engineer or engineer/technologist experienced with application support; triaging issues to identify root cause and solving with code, code tests, scripting or configuration.
The resolutions of issues may be the configuration or software defect related and requires managing of tickets and reporting status back to a specific set of support users. There is opportunity to be promoted into a platform engineer after one year. The candidate will also be building products similar to those they will be supporting.
Some experience with either node.js, front end js frameworks, document based data storage, nginx and application monitoring systems like Splunk, Cloudwatch and Datadog is preferred. Proven ability of learning new technologies is a must a the candidate may not have a traditional engineering background but is looking to be in a role that will allow them to grow technically to be able to be an engineer in the future.
