Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is recruiting for a flexi/PRN Associate Chaplain to provide spiritual care throughout the hospital for patients, families and staff. Must be able to travel to hospital (when on call) in 30 minutes or less.Department/Position Overview: Candidates considered for this position must have a Bachelors level degree in Religion and Theology and at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education. This position will provide spiritual care for hospital patients, staff and family members. Will collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to facilitate comprehensive and integrated holistic care of patients and families. Will document patient care concerns and interventions. Offers expertise or refers to staff Chaplain issues in cultural/faith diversity, advance care planning, major life transitions, end of life medical decision-making and grief processes. Will work in a multi-staff and culturally diverse setting.
