Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Part-Time Status Community Health Educator.

Position Overview
  • Scheduled approximately 16 hours per week.
  • This position is funded for two years (July 2018 — June 2020) through a Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth (VFHY) grant.
  • Grant amount is $22/hour.
  • Facilitate CATCH (The Coordinated Approach to Child Health) training sessions for CATCH facilitators.
  • Responsible for recruitment of training participants, evaluation and reporting, and all administrative duties associated with CATCH training and implementation, including organization and logistics.
Minimum Requirements
  • Associates Degree or 2 years related experience required in lieu of Associates degree.
  • 1-2 years of public health or social work related experience preferred.

Other
1-2 years of public health or social work related experience preferred. 2 years related experience required in lieu of Associates degree.
