Job Summary/Company: Subaward Manager will be responsible for managing our contractual relationships with research partners. He/ She will lead the subaward management process from risk assesment, development of the agreement, initiating and tracking subaward advances/payments, subaward monitoring, FFAFTA reporting and close out. The Subaward Manager serves as a direct supervisor to subaward team members and handles personnel management on the team, including performance expectation monitoring, performance evaluation, professional development opportunities, promotional development growth planning, as well as performance counseling. The position requires knowledge of federal regulations concerning management of federal assistance funding, including the Uniform Guidance, understanding of, copyright law, publication policy, intellectual property rights, data ownership and other subaward and subcontract clauses, knowledge of sponsor types and the differences in sponsor requirements, Knowledge of federal acquisition processes and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). This position must ensure that all work has a high level of accuracy. Responsibilities: This position has responsibility for hiring and assessing performance including reviews and effectively communicating office policy and work plans to staff. He/she provides both positive feedback as well as corrective actions. Provide staff with the necessary tools and training to accomplish principle functions and implement processes and procedures to maximize the abilities of each team member for maximum efficiency and productivity Coordinates coverage, workload distribution, and re-assignments to maintain workload balance. Oversee all subrecipient monitoring activities assigned to subaward team Qualifications/Background Profile: 5 years Subawards management/ International subawards Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, public administration or related business Knowledge of federal regulations concerning management of federal assistance funding, including the Uniform Guidance. Understanding of, copyright law, publication policy, intellectual property rights, data ownership and other subaward and subcontract clauses.
