Technical Quality and Risk Lead

Key Role:

Work as a team member in a Booz Allen organization overseeing a quality program for the entire firm. Apply expertise in implementing Big Data or machine learning solutions to help ensure projects are on-track and any risks are identified and properly mitigated. Provide independent evaluations of a large portfolio of technical delivery projects to comprehend their changing risk postures on an ongoing basis. Perform risk evaluations of business opportunities or client proposals and summary analyses on evolving portfolio risks through meetings and reviews with firm-wide management, program and project managers, senior executives, and market leads. Create a culture of quality consciousness that strives to continually learn and improve. Maintain responsibility for risk and quality management instructional development and delivery, personnel supervision, goal development and guidance to staff, recruiting and hiring recommendations, and working sessions to continuously improve quality and risk review processes.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in developing solutions with data mining and machine learning algorithms applied to large and complex data sets

-Experience with technical quality or risk management

-Experience in interfacing with technical and management personnel at all levels

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or CS

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to be an independent thinker and decision maker

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical skills

-MA or MS degree in Operations Research, Statistics, or Data Science

-PMP and other relevant certifications a plus
