Analyze website performance, trends, and click stream path activity to provide data-driven business insights leading to fundamental improvements to the website experience for all Washington Post sites. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly ad-hoc campaign specific reporting. Develop best practice approaches for analyzing user behavior on company websites. Create and maintain key reports, dashboards, and analyses using Omniture and other reporting tools. Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and create tools/methodologies for allocating marketing budgets across various channels to maximize audience growth/engagement. Create special reports/presentations for senior staff and monthly cross-functional briefings. Provide ongoing training/support for Washington Post users of web analytics tools. Assist in the implementation/usage of new multivariate testing and site optimization programs. Work with marketing staff on cross-over issues that involve site traffic (search marketing, marketing promotions, registration, and loyalty programs). Job is in DC.
Bachelor's in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or Computer Information Systems plus 2 years of experience in data analytics; 2 years of experience in application analytics including implementation and testing and ad-hoc analysis; and 2 years of experience in DBMS and SQL. All experience may be concurrent.
