Builds customer loyalty by reinforcing Kohl's customer service philosophies and best practice. Directs workflow, orients and trains associates and demonstrates Kohl's service approach.ACCOUNTABILITIESExecutes workload and distributes tasks to support the customer experienceServes as leader on duty to ensure a positive and compelling customer experienceObserves associate performance and provides feedback in partnership with Assistant Manager/Store ManagerDelivers the highest level of customer service supporting Kohl's "Yes We Can" culture through effective problem solving Trains associates to maximize performance and customer experienceOversees daily functions of the Cash Office (ie register and cash balancing, change orders, authorizing voided transactions, supplies, over/short research)Maintains organization of the registers and service desk areasSupervises and assists in accurate and efficient processing of customers' requests and transactionsQUALIFICATIONSREQUIREDEffective verbal and written communication skillsBasic math and reading skills, legible handwriting and attention to detailBasic computer skillsAbility to work as part of a team and interact effectively with othersAbility to lift 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis PREFERREDPrior experience in sales, customer service or other work with the publicPrior experience working with a team
