RAS Security and Privacy Senior Associate
The Security and Privacy Senior Associate is responsible for providing digital forensic and cyber security services across many different industries that include:Proactively participate and supervise on projects involving the identification, collection, and analysis of computer systems and electronic data sources relevant to investigative, legal, or regulatory initiativesDemonstrates proven thorough abilities and success with identifying and addressing client needs: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisorDemonstrates proven thorough abilities and success as a team member: understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; providing guidance, clarification and feedback to less-experienced staffDemonstrates proven thorough abilities and success with leveraging creative thinking and problem solving skills, individual initiative, and utilizing MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes, where necessary, in conjunction with the following: Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats, including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts, assisting business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clientsLeading a key workstream in an engagement(s), staying educated on current trends and assisting in the development of knowledge capitalSupporting practice management for a specific operation or processManaging and/or contributing to project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and successful completion of engagement workstream(s)Basic Qualifications:3 years of hands-on technical or digital forensic investigative experience of personal computer systems, servers, email and electronic data storage, and mobile devicesBachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in computer engineering, computer science, management information systems, information technology or related discipline is requiredRelevant work experience (eg internships, school jobs, seasonal positions)Demonstrated problem solving and strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks, work on various assignments and effective time management skillsFlexible with travel requirements for company and client matters is requiredEnCase, CFCE or equivalent certifications are requiredExperience with vulnerability commercially available and open source testing toolsPreferred Qualifications:CISSP, CISM, CISA certifications are preferredCommon security industry standards (ISO 27001/27002, NIST 800 series, PCI, HIPAA / HITECH)IT security and network infrastructure background (UNIX, Windows, MAC, etc.) preferredDemonstrates proven knowledge of system security, controls or information security management environment, in one or more of the following information security domains: Security Architecture and StrategyIdentity & Access ManagementData Loss PreventionComplex Security Program Execution/ImplementationSecurity Function Design and GovernanceIncident ManagementSecurity ArchitectureYou want your next step to be the right one.
