David's Cafe' Supervisor
Job Description: FUNCTION The David's Caf Supervisor is responsible and accountable for administration, operation, and direct management of the Caf . SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and assist in a supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the Caf . Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drinks necessary to operate the Caf . Developing servers, host, cashiers and utility staff; this includes training, interviewing, assisting with performance management, and conducting performance evaluations. Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary. Review departmental status with Manager. Develop, implement and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries. Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary. Other duties as assigned. \" Job Requirements: MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to analyze and interpret operation results. Ability to solve complex problems. Ability to perform assigned duties under pressures. Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation. A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule. Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment. Ability to complete assigned duties in a timely manner. Ability to work in a smoking environment. Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily. EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE Three (3) years of experience in restaurant supervision and/or management, purchasing and inventory control. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency for the position, an Alcohol Beverage Control card and any applicable health certifications. \"
